Event Waiver Form
This fun, self-paced, six-month-long adventure encourages you to get out and explore the Wekiva Basin. For each adventure completed, you will earn a corresponding sticker to mark your achievements. In addition, every two stickers you receive earns you one raffle ticket! The raffle will be held monthly with the chance to win an environmentally-related prize!

The Wekiva Wild and Scenic River System Management Committee Meeting will be held in person at Wekiwa Springs State Park. We will meet at the Rec Hall. The meeting is on January 18th, 2022 from 2:00 PM- 4:00 PM.

Join Wekiva Wild and Scenic River, Wekiva-Middle St. Johns Aquatic Preserve, and Friends of the Wekiva River for a fun nighttime event! Mothing! We will be attracting moths to visit us and documenting individuals through photographs. These photographs will be posted to iNaturalist to identify each moth

Join us at Seminole State Forest for a guided hike through one of Florida’s most unique and endangered habitats- Scrub! Learn about this unique habitat and the plants and animals that inhabit it, like the endemic Scrub Jay.

Share your Wekiva Story by making a short film for this film festival and compete for prizes! We will gather together to enjoy these short films and vote for the People’s Choice winner!

Join Friends of the Wekiva River and Wekiva Wild and Scenic River System at Lake Norris Conservation Area for the annual Friends of Wekiva River Camp Out! This is a primitive campsite with no bathrooms or drinking water. Campers should have all their own camping equipment.

Join Wekiva Wild and Scenic River and Friends of the Wekiva River at Wekiwa Springs State Park for a bike tour! This tour will be led by Friends of the Wekiva Rivers’ President, Jim Adamski.
Bike through the beautiful landscapes of Wekiwa Springs State Park and learn about the hydrologic cycle.
