Enjoy a scenic paddle down Blackwater Creek with Friends of the Wekiva River. This is limited to 10 kayaks so pre-register soon to secure your spot. Some paddling experience is required for this round trip — upstream and back downstream to the starting point. Limited kayaks available or bring your own watercraft. Park entrance fee: $2.00. Wear/bring: clothes and shoes that can get wet, sun protection, water, your own picnic lunch, water protection for your phone and camera.
Time: Saturday, Sept. 11, 8:30 a.m.—12:00 p.m. 8:30 meet at Seminole State Forest – Bear Pond Parking Lot, 31852 Wekiva River Rd Seminole State Forest, Sorrento, FL 32776 (Bear Lake trailhead entrance).
