Join Wekiva Wild and Scenic River and Friends of the Wekiva River at Wekiwa Springs State Park for a bike tour! This tour will be led by Friends of the Wekiva Rivers’ President and Valencia College Professor, Jim Adamski.
Bike through the beautiful landscapes of Wekiwa Springs State Park and learn about the hydrologic cycle.
Prof. James C. Adamski (Valencia College) will lead an off-road mountain biking tour of Wekiwa Springs State Park on Saturday, February 12 at noon. The tour will feature the various geologic and hydrologic settings of the park with emphasis on the effects on the ecosystems. The ride will be approximately 8 – 9 miles and last about 1 – 2 hours. This activity will be moderate to strenuous, depending upon trail conditions. The event is weather dependent.
This tour will have limited capacity and participants must provide their own mountain bikes. Click here to register!
