When: Sunday October 4th
Where: Launch from Katies Landing, paddle downstream for 2 Miles, turn around and paddle upstream back to Katies landing.
Distance: Approximately 4 miles
Duration: Launch at 9am return at noon.
Experience Level: Beginner. Participants on this excursion should expect a wide waterway with a moderate current and limited obstacles. For the return trip you will be paddling upstream, so be prepared to break a sweat! Paddle experience is recommended.
What to bring: lunch or snacks, bug spray, sunscreen, reusable water bottle with water, Hats, river or water shoes. Optional: water safe camera
Bring your own paddle craft: 20 spots (must bring USCG Approved PFD and noisemaker (whistle)) for each rider!
Use provided equipment: 10 spots
