The Wekiva River System Management Committee (MC) is performing an
update to the 2012 Comprehensive Management Plan (CMP). The management plan
was originally developed in 2012 to serve as the basis for protecting the Wekiva River
System’s values and ensuring the river will be protected in perpetuity for future
generations to enjoy.
As part of the update process, the MC would like to gather public input on how to
improve the Wekiva Wild & Scenic River System. There are multiple opportunities to
join us and share your ideas in-person or through online engagement!
Please join us for a public meeting where you can learn about the Wekiva River
System and the management plan update process, and participate in activities to
share your ideas on River System improvement.
The public meeting is being offered both in-person and online. Please see meeting
details below and register for your choice of event.
